Back in New York for a week before heading down to Texas to begin rehearsals for Amphibian Stage Productions "La Llorona, A Love Story" by my good friend Kathleen Culebro. I saw a reading of this play 10 years ago and thought it compelling and enchanting, imbued with folklore and superstition. It's a play as beautiful as it is tragic and a story that definitely needs to be told about American imperialism and the sacrifices one makes for love. Kathleen has rewritten parts of it and I'm excited to be working on it with my good friend Elizabeth Mason whom I met at TCU. 6 weeks in Texas!

Merry Christmas! I've just finished "A Christmas Carol" in Fort Worth which turned out to be so much fun. The show yielded some very talented actors and a great time. Pictures have been ordered and perhaps I'll share one on here.
I'm having a hard time updating the website right now so unfortunately I haven't been able to discuss it much but I'll keep forging ahead. Best to you in 2010!

Ok, so I'm on the Cape again, for the summer. We're having a bit too much fun out here, I must admit, but it's not stopping us from doing the nitty-gritty work that we did last year. Our first show "The Bald Soprano" has been such a nice time, that I really don't want it to end.
We've been reviewed by several papers, the most recent of which is the Boston Globe, saying it is "a textbook case of absurdist theater". Here's a link to the Cape Cod Times saying the show is "sparkling, the Bald Soprano truly sings" and the Barnstable Patriot which described it as "modern art in motion".

I've just been getting riled up by Mike Daisey and Todd Olson's back and forth. They started out like cats in a street fight but have mellowed out a bit now and are making an interesting dialogue. Here's the first letter and if you are interested you can read more on Daisey's blog.
Going back to Cape Cod for the summer. I'll post about it here very soon.

Sadly the show has closed but fret not, here's a crummy picture I took of me in costume.
On a different note (progress must continue!) the website is about to be completely overhauled. Check back soon if ya wanna see....or if you have suggestions.
