Metonymy - I have now met Anthony Clarvoe. He's a great guy with lots of interesting ideas about playwriting and the theater in general. His new play Metonymy is incredibly theatrical and I applaud him for taking risks. One line of his play really spoke to me. "Fielding is an art." Ok, yes he was referring to baseball but I'm going to go ahead and say there's a double meaning in it and he was actually referring to me.

Gin and Metonicmy - So, I'll have you know that the audition went well. I met some really cool people at the after party and saw a microcosm of the sheer force and power of what Monty Python has done to America. I had a splenderifous and terrificent time.
Also, I have been cast in Milesquare's 7th Inning Stretch in a new play by Anthony Clarvoe (Ctrl-Alt-Delete) called Metonymy. See Milesquare Theatre's website. It's a world premier by a magnifisome playwright.
Oh, and I might be turning Equity soon. More detail next...

Fin and Tonic This weekend I'm grabbing my fish, putting it through my head, and auditioning for Gin and Tonic the movie again at their NYC audition. I've got a new monologue juiced up for the audition and an invite for the after party at the Telephone Bar. Looney attire suggested. If I survive walking through New York City streets with a fish through my head, I can do anything.
The TONY's are also this weekend, and there's another DISH meeting to attend, though I won't, because I'll be a this gin and tonic party instead.
