The Seagull is flying high. We were reviewed very well in the NYTimes and the tickets are selling well enough for the discount codes to be pulled. I'd recommend getting tickets and seeing it now if you're interested as all signs point to a sold out run. The New Yorker also gave us a good review and added a picture that I particularly like (and haven't seen elsewhere) which I've posted here. Lastly on the Seagull bill (wink wink), I'll mention the kind mention I received in Playbill. That was a happy surprise.
The show has reached a status quo now which includes an appropriate stab to keep things fresh. There are daily themes to work on and seldom are there social occasions where the discussion doesn't turn to acting choices or Chekovian analysis. I've warmed up to all the actors as well, and vice versa, and we've come together nicely for a good number of social occasions. The next few months should easily glide.
